But for gods sake you can’t throw away, cause it’s.. Something. So now.. You can have that something in yout living…wait family… room. So folks can come on by and say.. Well isnt that something. You know thats actually a decent deal!. Ive been thinking of doing this with the hatch from my 61 Cruisers that burned.

Place one of them over that carpet stain from your last party and then claim you did it on purpose to give it that authentic “bilge” look. Spritz some gasoline into the air occasionally to complete the olfactory experience.

Those would look GREAT with that third stolen water ski chair from Dora!

Shhhhh! You are going to get banned!

There was no third chair, no matter how long you think you were sitting in it, it never existed. Nothing to see here, move along.

Cool. I have a couple U-22 front hatches from collecting I thought about using this way

I could start with the hatches then add a motor, windshield, some boards and next thing you know I could have the whole boat in there…. At least the wife couldn’t complain about the boat being in the garage because it would be in the family room instead… Lol

LOL, Just explain to the wife why the coffee table needs new ribs and a 5200 bottom, all while on the good rug!

How far away is the day when we can ‘repurpose’ an entire boat?

Is it time to ‘restructure’ those old cruisers into summer cabins ashore???????

    • WoodyGal

An old cruiser in the back yard would make a great guesthouse!

    • Rick

Ahhhhhh. FINALLY wooden cruisers that are properly supported on the hard.

Upon further investigation, it turns out that these are not real boats. They are just two wood buildings built in 1929 to honour the seafarers in the area. They have been used as rentals since being built so many folks have enjoyed them over the years. They also are said to move and sway in windy weather which may seem neato for the effect, I frankly would not want my land based structure to sway in the breeze. Insides are supposed to look like real boats – ie a galley and bunks. In any event, looks fun though…..
