Ohhhhhhhhhhh my!

A couple weeks ago at the Big Smith Mountain Lake Show, we had the fortunate pleasure to undress Miss America. And yes, for an over 50 year old it was the same feeling as if I was 17, and well, you know, the same as undressing Miss 38th street. There is something about a warm summer morning, and slowly unsnapping and twisting each clasp that is magical. I even did some with one hand. I still got it!

I suppose others were wondering why I was taking so long. I wanted the moment to last. I wanted to see her seams slowly exposed under her tight sweaty cover, unleashing her powerful glistening warm tanned deck. Unsnapping her soft yet firm tight dark red warm to the touch interior. While holding on for her while she gets wet and launches out of her deep slumber into a powerful blast of fuel being forced towards her thrusting pipes. Launching her into bliss while floating on the flat warm waters of a Summer morning. Being breathless, excited, then, slowing down, and slowly floating back to her special spot, leaving us all wanting more and yet completely satisfied.

I like looking at her large gauges!

And then going off and bragging to the boys about our time with Miss America – We are talking about a boat here. Whatever mess is in your head, is your hell.  Have a great day thinking about your pathetic little plastic boat now. I need a smoke!

I bow my head to the Word Master, Matt Smith, and slowly exit stage left. I know when I have been outdone and no image can possibly compete with a great imagination.

When I was in my early twenties, living on the St. Clair River, in St. Clair, I was blessed to be close friends with Harold Mistele, He would always give me a call to stop over and mess around with his wooden boat collection, and yes, the days we would head to the boat house on a calm, smooth morning to take a ride in Miss America IX was always special. I will never forget the adrenaline rush of speed, history and fun…

Yeah “Miss 38th street”. Now there’s a gal that would turn all the guys heads. She sure was a ” looker”. The good girls were jealous of her ’cause she was from the other side of the …….lake. She also had that certain patina that only the sun can deliver.
