Screen Shot 2017-03-18 at 12.51.42 PM copyThe new Chris Craft Antique Boat Clubs website is live and it is fantastic. It’s one more fine example of how high the standards are for the club communications. The Brass Bell, The Boat Buzz, and archives are just a small part of the clubs big winners. This website has been in the works for a while, and a massive undertaking. As someone that designs and builds them, we here can just say, WOW!

Thank you Matt! A massive undertaking indeed and perfectly executed by the excellent team at Catalyst Communication and the CCABC volunteers.

It is finally fully functional on a mobile device and looks great too! We couldn’t do it without the support of our sponsors like you.

P.S. The new Brass Bell will be mailing soon, so there’s still a little time to get in before the next issue.

      Hello Steve Griffitts:

I have tried many times to reply to your note. It is unfortunate to say that the 1200 word article was never mentioned to me other than in passing & then later, the surgeons found some things that needed urgent attention. As you can take it from here, I’m in no condition to write. Thanks. Nice if you could acknowledge my note, please. I was excited beyond belief but have no idea of schedules and important things that in no way would come in front of ‘The Brass Bell’, as my life has been built around Chris-Craft and I am best at the RIVA article without a doubt. It appeared obvious you had changed your mind and I asked the doctors to do their thing. Sincerely your friend and a current member now as check cashed and all seemed well. Kevin M. Thanks for your support of the Club and all that you do for the hobby, Matt. As both a fellow creative and a “woody boater,” your comments mean A LOT to us here at Catalyst.

The site was a labor of love. Thanks to the board, website committee and the fantastic contributions of the photographers (check out Photographers on the Resources page), everything came together. What a great group of volunteers!

Brian and I will be at the show Thurs. and are looking forward to seeing you!

Wilson: Let’s toast to Bill Baldwin again. And, send the club a photo of you and your grandkids boating for the photo gallery! We’d love to see more families enjoying the lifestyle.

Lorraine: Regrettably grandson has a class conflict and won’t be with me this year. Wife (Pat) will come in his place and will happily join in a toast to Bill…and to his Pat. The two Pat’s remain in touch as facebook friends..

Or is it the river pre-cruise?

Sandi and I got stuck at the Tiki bar today with a bunch of bikers and their babes. Sandi made me leave my camera phone in the boat.

Looks great. we have come a long way since the days when we took over the club and were battling to avoid having the site shut down because we didnt have any money to pay to the host internet service provider. Boat Buzz, and of course Brass Bell, are at the heart of the club. An emergency gift from acbs was extremely helpful, and early internet work by chad durren and matt byrne, among others, helped keep everything afloat. Congratulations to everyone invovled!

I hope those that associate me with the club in the early days don’t think you are talking about me because when I relinquished the club management responsibilities there was money in the bank and the membership rolls were as high or higher than today.
