Terry Fiest Inducted Into Hagerty Hall Of Fame!

Those of us that are lucky enough to know Terry, all know this is a well deserved honor. Personaly, I can not tell you how welcome he can make you feel, all while telling you to move your boat, do this, and do that. That’s what makes great leaders, a quality that can inspire others to follow, and all while sharing in the work. It’s not just what he has done for the Sunnyland Show, but the entire culture. He has helped with the ACBS, The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club, and us here at Woody Boater. It’s amazing that one person can make such an impact on an entire community.

He is one of the key players that makes stuff happen through hard work all with a smile. Its fantastic that Hagerty is doing something like this by creating a Hall Of Fame. And having Terry in the Hall Of Fame is a perfect way to start out the 2017 boating season! Here’s to you Terry!

Several years ago – one of the first Tavares shows, I believe, Century was the featured marque boat at the show. As a board member of the Century Boat Club, I will always remember the event largely because Terry made it so special for all of the Century enthusiasts present to enjoy the show and still feel special that year. Congratulations Terry. A very deserved honor.

Presenting this prestigious award to Terry Fiest was definitely one of the highlights of my career. The love that was felt for Terry throughout the room of over 350 people, certainly solidified not only our choice as the 2017 inductee, but the respect, appreciation and dedication from all in attendance. A huge shoutout to everyone that assisted us with pulling this COMPLETE SURPRISE together!! Love this hobby!
