Headed out on a very rare flat water moment! This is a homemade masterpiece.
A huge thanks to fellow Woody Boaters YNOT Yachts and the LaDonnes who can bring life to anything. They are also amazing photographers. As we said yesterday, the show was a challenge to photograph and so we thought it might be fun to see other ways that the same stuff was seen. Clearly though a far superior eye then my me. Thanks again. Enjoy the show!
Thunderbolt masterpiece out for a short fun ride. This is so a bucket list boat!
A simple dock shot, yet its fantastic.
Taking friends out. Bumpers and all
Varnish perfection around every corner
Old and not so old . You can see the water level here along the shore
It was a fantastic event and very welcoming. The good news is you had time to keep up with friends and spend some time chatting
The 25′ Sportsman was beautiful, and has been in the same family for over 50 years. Fresh restoration
Light her up!
Thunderbolt engine
Phil Jones and his Limp Stern pole Shepard from a different angle. Beautiful lettering BTW.
Headed out on the YNOT Silver Arrow. WOW
Lets go
Gotta stay under 5Mph 600 feet within shore.
Meanwhile back in the full boathouse at the Antique Boat Museum
History comes in all sizes and colors – Man that boat is HUGE
We shot this also from a different angle.
More boathouse magic
A little Riva playpen tease

It’s fun to see the same subject matter shot through a different eye. Thanks again to YNOT Yachts for the shots and great laughs at the show. What a great family and huge asset to the culture of classic boats! And to keep this going, we are also going to see Clayton through Kent O. Smith Jr this week as well.
Very nice, thanks for sharing
Now this is what we are talking about. It does not matter how many times I have seen the stern of “Purple Haze”, everyone sees and shoots it a little differently so it is always new.
The YNOT gang is great. Hoping to hear that they are coming to Southport in the ANE soon. I’ll meet you at Robinson’s Wharf.
What a collection of boats, and great photos as always from YNOT.
So who went to the auction and came home with a lighter wallet?
I heard that all but one boat in the auction sold. My friend Art, who reported this to me, still has a heavy wallet.
The Watertown newspaper has a video of the auction but it doesn’t reflect any buyers or sellers… Non the less, YNOT folks captured a lot of the show which is wonderful for those of us who couldn’t be there.
Would like to see more pics of the first two boats please.
Additional shots of each to follow in the comments or in a post later this week.
Well done, but with all the great boats and museum backdrop you say its a challenge to shoot? Because boats too jammed in together? or boat ports make it dark?
any more pics of the “homemade masterpiece”?
TIA
Great photos! Who cares if we’ve seen them before! They are all stunning & the YNOT gang knows how to have fun…
homemade masterpiece was on eBay a few times recently
