This Saturday there is a very cool auction, online and in human form at Bertoia Auctions. Link at the bottom of the story. Anyway we are not talking about big actual size boats, but very cool smaller vintage toy like boats. Now, i know Toy is the correct term, but they have kinda leaped the Toy world into art for sure.

Possibly sculptures of a time gone by. One of these, in the living room can set the tone for your living space. buy them all, and well, they define you, and if you are like fellow Woody Boater Bob Weaver, you become a curator at a museum. Which might explain why some of these are Bobs.

    While looking on eBay at the toys I got curious. Found antique bacon presses for Troy to collect. Didn’t even know they existed. Guess I shouldn’t have been browsing during breakfast.

    Like the Penn Yan due to the local connection, but I have enough “collectable” stuff sitting around now. I’d be tempted at 25 bucks though…………..
