We Are Thankful To You.

Pass the varnish please

This year has been another fantastic year here at WoodyBoater. And we have all of you reading and contributing to thank for that. 10 Years of stories, fun and friendship are a true treasure. We are also so thankful for your support of all our sponsors. Who many are seeing very busy winters. It’s great when we all support the good in the culture together. It’s also wonderful when you support each other with advice, and support. This year we had some fellow Woody Boaters in trouble and you all jumped in with kind words and financial support.

There has been countless times where readers are there for folks restoring boats and giving advise. Traffic is projected to be slightly above last year and big changes are coming soon to up the brand of Woody Boater to help more people engage with others in the culture. All for free and supported by your participation and passion. Thanks for that and thanks for taking the time today to read this. We know you have family home to argue with.

35 here today so I thought about laying up the Whirlwind for the season…but NOOOOO….might have some good days in December to GO BOATING!

Thank you Matt for all you do for us.

Also, a helpful reminder to all of WoodyBoaterville. Just because it is Turkey Day in the US does not mean it is OK to eat turkey bacon. It is never OK to make bacon out of poultry! Plaid plastic weave upholstery is a forgivable sin, but turkey bacon is a relationship killer. Now, if you want to make a deep fried turkey porchetta, I support you 100%.

I am thankful for my first full season with Rocket Man – what a blast (pun intended).

Also very thankful for Jim Staib, Jim Grant, and Don D, three great supporters of this hobby who were there to guide through my restoration.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in WoodyBoaterville. I’m thankful for being able to start each day with a new woody story. Now maybe I’ll weave some bacon into a plaid pattern to put on top of the turkey.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. A special shout out to my first mate who is making the meal for the family so I have time to do this. The bad news I have to do the dishes. Thanks to all the Boatresses that are the best half of the culture because they love us and our boats.
