At Least It Can Be Summer On Your Table. Classic Boat Cornhole Game!

Desk top fun!

Miss playing cornhole out in the back yard on a warm summer day? You don’t anymore thanks to long time fellow Woody Boater Gary Beck ( Classic Mail Box Fame) not sure if you recall that fun adventure, Here is a photo of ours as a reminder.

Gary killed it on this one. We got the post at Home Depot and stained it up!

And some other fun stuff, has made a very fun classic boat-ish mini Cornhole game for your table top.Ya, it’s different, but it’s winter and we are looking for all sorts of fun oddball stuff to comment on. Of course these are a test and being designed for a actual size set. What do you think? Want one? Gary is reading today.

Gary says the desktop game comes with 1 game piece and 6 bags. Novel idea which is the start of a few mental designs I have for full size game. YOU CAN REACH GARY at Beckdk@comcast.net

We have been able to add to the Recommended area as well. It looks like way over 300 of you have signed up, which is about 290 more than we expected, so we are working on it. The plow trucks like taking out my budget model mailboxes, but they would LOVE to turn that one into toothpicks!

Yeah if it isn’t the plow trucks then its the punk kids with a firecracker. Why is it when some people see something nice they have to destroy it?

I am guessing that you do not know what cornhole means in slang. Not something you want to wake up to – see displayed in big letters in a header, unless you want to spill your coffee all over your lap.

I believe you are the one who is ignorant to the common usage of the term in the current century. If you google “cornhole” you will see it is the common name for a bag toss game that is VERY popular among younger generations. Ask almost anyone between 12 and 45 what cornhole is and they will respond with the game not the obscene meaning that first popped into your head.

Uh yeah. Tell you what….you walk into a Starbucks in Compton, New York City, or Miami Beach chock full of millennials and at the top of your lungs, ask if there is anyone present that would enjoy a game of Cornhole….. If you live to see the dawn of a new day, then I will buy your argument that the slang term is old and that folks aged between 12 and 45 only know it to be a game with small bean bags and a board with a hole. Furthermore, if you Google “Cornhole slang”, well nothing but naughty stuff is listed for pages….and A Dictionary did use the word slang in his post.

I left the desired demographic age long ago and am well beyond the age 45. There are many words commonly used today that had different meanings years ago which now I suppose are deemed archaic.

I still am surprised when I see hear them on broadcast TV (licensed by the FCC) but acknowledge that this is the ongoing evolution of language.

I don’t have to embrace the new definitions, but I acknowledge them. I’ll just remain gay and carefree. OOPS. I mean happy and carefree.

Reminds me of the time I donned my gay apparel for Christmas. It turns out studded leather and assless chaps were not what the carolers were singing about.

Hey, just 7 Canadians representing on the “WoodyApp”…. what gives? Challenge issued!

Also, we always called it “Bean Bag Toss”… even in the ’60’s.

They have stolen my idea. (story of my life). I have thought about mahogany corn hole bags for some time. I even have some short pieces put aside for the project. Have had a lot of laffs with people over the term “corn hole” while playing the game. I think the best bags to use with this wold be the bags with 100 dollar bills on them. Bilge Rat I feel your pain about plow trucks, punk kids, and mailboxes.

Why don’t you have the person that loaded the sponsors work on the Android fixes.

They came through just fine on my Android phone.

For the Woodyboater version of the game shouldn’t it be called “Bunghole” instead of “Cornhole”?

no mahogany but nautical, plus it’s attached to 300lbs of concrete. I worked in a prison for 30+ years and corn hole wasn’t a game in there, it was a lifestyle.
