We are headed to Lake Dora mid weekish on the March 22 week, so we can enjoy the lake, warmth  and surrounding areas. And yes we are bringing a small boat. If no room in the water then she will be on land. The good news is the show is looking like its going to be a fun creative different take on a beach party, and we bet the farm, that it will be one of the more fun events. There is still room at the Inn. The Mission Inn that is. There is a special rate for the show, so make sure you mention that. Terry reports that the numbers are starting to fill up, so its FLA party time. CLICK HERE FOR THE MISSION INN

Make sure you are on the new Woody Boater app, there are several hidden out of the way places on it to eat, drink and be merry. Or is it Mary? Mary is a retired bookkeeper from Ohio. She embezzled $500K before she split in the middle of the night with the Widget Co’s profits she had been stealing from at 1/2 a cent a widget. It added up over the years. She hangs out at one of our app bars in florida and is looking for a “Man” Thats you.. At least for the weekend. Leave your credit cards at home. Bring cash cause Mary… Wait.. What in the hell am I talking about? Oh, ya, Boat Shows, Florida, Bars.. Onion Rings.

The Dora Canal

The show is an excuse to come to Florida and hang out with fellow Woody Boaters and see things you haven’t seen all winter. Like skin, and sun screen. Find your sunglasses you will need them. So its sign up time. Go to the Sunnlyland Site RIGHT HERE and do your thing.

Don’t just sit there. – BTW, the flea market is loaded with cool stuff.

We are bringing the entire store and clearing it out!

We are working on a larger size Coffee Varnish Mug. Just not sure if we will be able to get them in time. We will update in a week

We will have several new items unveiled and sold at the show. They may or not be on the website after the show. Some items only sell in Florida for some reason. We are also trying to decide on the boat to bring. Stinky? Termite Terror or something new?

Stinky is ready. Not sure how that humid heat will make her smell though.

Any chance the app will be fixed by then for Android users? Or should we rely on paper maps? I’ll wait here with my snow shovel. Snow forcasted avery day for a week. Made my reservation when I left last year.

I think there was a major update done this week. As to Android. It seems to be on some phones and not others. I will be doing an update on all the issues very soon. Its frustrating on my end as well. We have around 400 users. Most iphone. We have added a whole lotta resturants and some lodging. There still appears to be an issue with some of you all showing up in Falls Church for some strange default reason

You can go there with my human. NOT me! Too hot and you have to watch where you drink, the big pond is salty. Me, I’LL be at the Country Club all week hitting on that hot Great Dane.

I’ll be there! It will be good to get out of this white stuff.

The app is working for me again!

Until you reveal the whereabouts of the “third chair” I am boycotting the show!

HAHAHAHA! They are all 5 at Jimmys barn. I kept the flying disk coffee table. I cant eat at the best Western bacon buffet alone!

John: I thought I’d find out what an ap is by going to the ap store ….But I’ve driven all over town and I can’t find it.

As Ed Sullivan would have said, it looks like it will be a really great show…or did he say “shew”…I sure will miss a ride thru the Dora Canal tho

  8. John Rothert

Wilson…maybe we could all pitch in a get one of those dreaded pontoon guys to take us through and to the palm gardens and etc? One of my buddies got a solo tour on one of those last year? Cost modest. If we don’t do something like that we are “AP” to miss out!

Ray, who was on the St. Johns southbound the last two years, captains one of the tour boats through the canal. We should see if we can hire him to at least taxi us back and forth to Palm Gardens.

      John:
Good idea…I saw a Home Depot out on Highway 441. Maybe we could go there and get some mahogany vnyl or contact paper to put on the logs and sides of the “toon” so it would look like a woodie.

  9. John Rothert

yeah Wilson…….if they can vynl up stations wagors back in the day we can do a boat…..will float as well as some boats I have had.
We should get up a group of the usual suspects and uber up a pontoon ride to the gardens at least. but you need one of those AP deals for that……rats….
