Pacto Vintage Race Helmets. Are You Cool Enough?

Are you ready to race? Push the limits of 30 mph? Well you will need a helmet of course. And thanks to Danilo Coto Cruz who started a very cool company called Pacto making the coolest vintage style helmet. And after a brief conversation with Danilo and he said,”For example in 1960 and 70s the Jet helmets were used by cars, motorcycles, snowing, motocross, or any motoring activity. The boat market is a closer niche so I suppose in 50s the British racing helmets were used by the boat enthusiast too….”

You can add cool leather accesories

or the claen cool look

So now you can race your little racer…. over for breakfast.  Or just as a cool prop at the shows. you can visit Pacto Helmets HERE, or go in person, they are in Costa Rica. ROOOOOOOOAD TRIP!

This is Stinkys Helmet. Ebay special. But size is tough. Pacto seems like a cool way to look the part.

Bring it on!

I think I am going to need a faster boat before I get a pig leather lined race helmet. Maybe I should just stick to the bacon.

Are you going to get a set of custom helmets in Seafoam for the trawler?

Yes, must have the goggles too! Bell still sells some open face helmets appropriate to the ’60s – early ’70s. My husband sometimes wears one to vintage race his Mini Cooper. And I believe Cromwell still sells their classic styles as well. Not sure if boat racers did, but in cars – drivers often wore a bandana tied over their nose & lower face like train robbers in old westerns. My dad is wearing one to filter dust & fumes, in this early ’70s photo.

I was in Costa Rica last year, wish I had known about these helmets. It would look way cool running my 28ft Commander along the Saint Clair River on my way to the National Show in Port Huron 2018.
Where’s Greg, must be taking his dog for the morning walk ?
