The Day Before The Big Day At Lake Dora 2018

This year the show welcome party was at the new pavilion! Sponsored by the City of Tavares thanking everyone for showing up.

Well, the Florida sunny and warm welcome did not disappoint. As usual the gang here is beyond amazing and has the show running like clock work. The land display is full, with over 65 boats registered and there are two.. TWO temporary docks in place so folks can come and go. Things started heating up later in the day. Boats are expected to come in today and from all over the lake. The flea market is ready to go and deals are already happening.

Sunshine in the morning

We will add, that for sure numbers are down for participants from a past Thursday experience to this years. But the joy of fellow Woody Boaters is the same if not a little more happy. I know this may sound strange, but its manageable and fun to be able to spend real time with pals and looking at boats. Saturdays crowd is expected to be the usual huge size since that is the show attendee days.

I can’t believe I am missing this for spreadsheets, word docs, teleconferences and temps in the 30’s.

Lake Dora looks great. Looks as good as it did in December. Mabie we will make it to the show next year. Enjoy!

This must be the most boring show ever, or there is no Internet access in Tavares, because the updates so far have been truly underwhelming!
