This was half way through the day. – 13 min for 2 miles. It lied. 45 minutes later I was half way home.

Yesterday started out with great expectations, picking up a new boat for the fleet, and well…. And turned into a 4 hr drive that became 10. But the good news is, we have a fun story, and in the end, isn’t that what its all about? I mean 10 hr hail Mary drives are part of the fun. The other good news, is once I go in and clean up the photos and video. But for now, you get the hell shots. Stay tuned for.. BOAT FROM HEAVEN, DRIVE FROM HELL.

YA, I did that backing into a pals car. It went downhill from there!

Dusk, the day started at 6AM

If you drive with one eye closed, at least half your body can rest. Right?

Stay tuned. it will be worth it!

I backed into a pal’s car once- Daddy’s Caddy hit his MG. Raised his wheels off the ground.

Sounds like a great story line. Can’t wait for it. DC must be one of the worst for traffic with visitors to the Capitol, protestors, entitled politicians, foreign dignatarys with immunity, gov’t commuters, close proximity to Baltimore, and “shore traffic” UGH. It’s why we always go up I-81 to avoid I-95 corridor headed north/south.

Best way to get around DC is take an “Honor Flight”…They land a BWI, have park service escourt who literally run cars off the road to get the buses into and thru DC and back to Baltimore at day’s end.

Curved windshield, white stripe. 1960’s something. Hmmm.

As for the traffic, you should move to upstate NY. People here complain about an accident and ensuing traffic jam that adds less than 10 minutes to their commute.

Sides kind of look like a Cavalier to me. Hard to tell from a pic in a mirror.

I think he is going to try to compete with Termite Terror!

    Mike K,

Even Microsoft doesn’t support XP anymore! When XP was released, the World Trade Center was still standing. Obamma hadn’t even started his campaign…for the Senate. The iPhone was years away, heck Blackberry didn’t even make a phone yet! The Kids who were born after XP was released are driving now, clogging the DC expressways.

I think it is time to move on from XP.

Did I mention the time someone on a flip phone was trying to download the app. HA. I am still waking up from that drive. It was solid traffic from North to south.

Take heed Matt, when I got to (9) boats I began to realize what was happening to my life!

Instituted a new Rule: To buy one ‘new’ boat I had to sell (2).

Seems to be working, sold (1) a while back and only one more to go before I can go after that …………

Matt, you need to slack up on boat purchases or you won’t have room for my Argentine special that you have first refusal on!

Matt Don’t listen to them, huff more varnish and get more boats. You are our hero.
