The True joy Of What Woody Boater Is About! It’s Lily Day!

One of the most thrilling parts of doing this for now over 10 years is we can now look back and watch folks buy boats for the first time, get restored, break down,,,and watch families grow up, But hands down one of my favorite features is the Annual Lily photos.

10 Years of Lily

This all started back when Lily was born and long time Woody Boater Chad Durren, had named is wonderful U18 Lily and we got to see photos of it all together.

So I am trying to go in the other direction and get one of my kids to name a grandchild after my boat.

No takers yet for Rocket Man and four boys already. Still holding out hope though …

Great story about a great family and Lily is a charming young lady. Looking forward to seeing Chad and I hope Lily in Port Huron. We feel like sort of distant cousins with boats named Water Lily and Tiger Lily!

It’s been fun watching Lily grow up but frankly, I’d like to know how to get rid of the lilies that have taken over the water around my dock which used to be crystal clear waters ten years ago.

Wilson, You have to pull them out at the root! Nothing else seems to work.
But make sure there are no EPA police around or you might get fined.

Most I pull don’t seem to come with roots, just a leaf and stem.
