This time in a couple ish weeks we will be sifting through cool stuff at the best flea market in the US if not the world for classic boat stuff. Okay, it’s not like there is alot of stuff to compare it too. But there have been years where true treasures can be found. The entire reagon is very fertile for this sort of stuff.
And of course there is the museum. We suggest that you show up early so you can explore the storage shed. Its closed on the weekend. Phil Andrews and I will be exploring for sure and trying to get on boat rides around the area.
This year, THE Museum is featuring 1940’s boats. So you will see Pre war, and Post war boats. Which is cool.

The Auction on Saturday is wonderful. Trick! Bring a empty trailer – Deals are better on boats without trailers.

I’ll be there. On the judging crew for the first time in many years plus hanging out with my buddies at Fat Earl Jr’s World of Bargains in the flea market.
I judged there one year…John Dubicus was our Chief Judge…We all got free rooms at Bertram’s. The next year they got a whole new crew…I often wondered if it was something we said, or the way we dressed.
Okay it’s official Fat Earl Jr’s World of Bargains is the best name for a flea market tent EVER!
Fat Earl Jr’s World of Bargian’s had a name change after Fat Earl Sr.tipped over. There now the Bottom Feeders. New name, Same great pile of high end Junk. There way in the back behind all the tee shirt venders.
