Me and my trusty old Harley are closing in on South Lake Tahoe, we only have about 900 miles to go and as soon as the sun comes up (and the deer on the side of the road go to bed) we will be back on the road.

    WooHoooo!!

Go Texx Go.. No emailing while driving..

  3. m-fine says:

900 miles on a Harley sounds like a rough day! I hope it is not a hard tail with ape hangers.

  4. chad says:

    Saddle up, Texx!

I hope you make it to the trading post before sundown. Be sure to stop at the waterin’ hole for a break and some viddles.

  5. Rick says:

I can picture Texx rollin’ down the blacktop on a big Harley haulin’ sumthin’ like “Silvia” behind. LOL That would be a cover shot! And only 900 miles to go. He may sleep through the show.

  6. randy & ginger says:

    texx,

    you be careful out there!

we’ll bet you are riding through some amazing country…so what are you riding…an ultra classic? traveling with anyone?

we’d like to know about your trip to the show!

    • ARRRGH! says:

YES! We would love to hear about the trip to the show . . . with pictures, of course! Wearing your Woody Boater hat with a “50 mission crush”???

  7. Paul H. says:

We rode about 700 miles in one day on our BMW sport touring bike’s last year on the way home from Tahoe. That was exhausting – 900 miles on a HD would be be really tough, maybe too tough. VERY nice ride though.

Get there safe and enjoy the show, see you in two weeks.

  8. Rick says:

This is one of the things I love about this site, you never know where it will go. Matt starts off with pics of beautiful boats and we’re asking about Texx’s bike trip. Love it!

  9. m-fine says:

I do my best to derail every comment thread.

  10. SS Dave Pickard says:

Ride safe! My Harley is an F250. I can’t trust the drivers in the northeast!
