This just in from Trevor in the Windy City at the big plastic boat show. Trevor has captured the oasis of classic woodyness for the world to see. Click here to his photo page. Over 500 images..Trevor has also asked any of our readers if they want to see anything specific. As above.. A Lapstrake!.. Thanks the the Blackhawk Chapter and some other restoration shops and Trevor from First Mate Yacht Care. The classic boat community stands tall in the “Paris on the Prairie”

ALSO PLEASE NOTE. I made a date and time mistake on the last two stories regarding the mecum auction. That is in TWO weeks. What in the heck was I thinking? Feel free to let me know.

I love today’s header! Riva’s on sunny Lake Como! What could be better? Ahhh…Italian food & a good wine red wine post cruise!
I agree WoodyGal, the Riva banner is my new all time favorite. It makes you wish you were at Lake Como enjoying the scenery from the water. Ahhhh
OK – I have to go out and shovel the snow off the driveway now…
Nice Thompson Sea coaster, beamy with all that padding like the dash. Plus that net covering the inside of the hull port and starboard. Beautiful shape and condition. Thanks for the pictures. Trevor
Well, I certainly know a lot more about the big white ones, but here is a a quick video we did of the Thompson!
