Woody Boater has put together one of the most complete and comprehensive lists of Boat Shows available. So take a peek, find one near you and plan to go to one or two (or more) this year. There’s nothing better than being there, seeing them and visiting with their owners. They enjoy meeting folks with common interests and sharing a few stories about their boats. Listen to them and listen to their engines saying “blog, blog, blog, blog” for a while. There’s nothing like it anywhere else than at a boat show.
Whether it’s a day trip, a weekend or a family vacation with a stop at one of the many shows all around the country you can plan a destination that will include one (or more) of these great displays of beautiful antique and classic boats.

Just do it, you won’t regret it.

The countdown is on for the 2008 edition of the Sunnyland Boat Show. I (and the wife and kids) are ready…enough winter for another year. Time for warmth, water, boats, and good friends.

I will be at the Des Moines Iowa Boat Show on February 21-24, at the Iowa Events Center. If any of you are in the midwest and close by, please stop by the Show.

Woodyboater…quit reading and go sand something.
