I knew it would happen, Sylvia’s deck seams have tightened up. After all that work of a new deck, making the seams 1/32 all that pain, when we got back from Fla, her seams had opened up in some places. Well, Nothing like some VA humidity and time in the water to fix that. She is looking perfect these days. The 13 coats of varnish are settling in as promised and she is running like a sewing machine… a sewing machine with a 150hp flat head in it…We are yanking her out of the water today and starting the prepping for Clayton.. Woohooo, 1000 Islands and fellow woody boaters. Sylvia is smiling and I swear I see her tail pipe wagging..
