Laugh all you want. You do the same thing! After a day from hell, it’s nice to just sit sometimes in a hot tub, with some good reading. This issue of Classic Boating has some great articles in it, including a killer one on paint colors from Don Dannenberg. That story has a been a long time coming, thanks Don. Also this issue marks 24 years of Classic Boating magazine. Congratulations. This magazine is amazing and if you have a collection of them, you can actually make money on your old issues. Classic boating is still old school, and proud of it. I like that. It’s all part of it’s mission I suppose. Great photography of great boats in great locations. It’s all why it’s one of the best publications to relax to. Now if you will excuse me…

As I got really interested in the hobby earlier this year, I managed to buy an entire collection of Classic Boating, from issue #1 until current. They are an unbeleivable compendium of information and photography, and I just keep going back and re-reading them. I look forward to the day it arrives, as I do with the Brass Bell and the Rudder. Now, if I could only by a collection of the Brass Bell.

    HAHAH. 😉

Sure, we all do it. But we don’t post photos of ourselves doing it.

You said it best…”It’s about photos of great boats in great locations” – not about photos of partially nude dudes in the tub.

I prefer the couch so I don’t get the pages wet.

HA. It’s as close to porn as I can do, to get clicks.. I feel so cheap!

an old fart in a tub 🙂 don’t you just love it, the more things change the more they stay the same. Wooden boats in New Zealand are wonderful, mainly sailing, a few power launches but mainly the mast and sail variety, I will try and find a few, that will give you a rise . . .

DIVERT, not DEVERT. Jeez Louise. Not to get all grammar police on you, but your spelling is atrocious. I’m sorry. I’ve bitten my lip for a while. But I can’t take it. Spelling and grammar mistakes are huge pet peeves of mine. Spell check, make your kids copy edit. Something. Please, for the love of humanity. Otherwise, love the site and keep up the good work!
