The latest issue of Classic Yacht Magazine came out yesterday… OK, it came through my email yesterday. It’s a digital magazine, kind-a like a half between web and paper deal. Regardless of the platform, it’s all about content, and this issue has some very good content. The most interesting storyis on the value of your classic boat. Bill Prince the publisher got the top guys in the business to talk about there POV’s on the current market conditions. I won’t draw and conclusions, because Bill did the work and it’s worth reading all the way through. But the good news is that there are some consistent points. 1. barrel backs are the blue chip boat. 2. If you own a big wood cruser, life sucks right now. With that said though, cruise on over to Classic Yacht Magazine… Cruise here.

Classic Yacht is a great magazine with rich content. The article on What’s $he Worth presents a positive outlook for the WoodyBoater collectors. Chris Schmaltz had some very encouraging comments regarding “Websites” and their affect on the public awareness of the hobby. He even mentioned “Blogs” in his comments. We only know of one, correct?

I’m in one of the photos on page 58 (lower left) with my better side to the camera. Can anyone recognise that rear view?

I have never read Classic Yacht before but I have to say it was a very enjoyable read. I enjoyed the article talking about the values of wooden boats.
