This is what happens when you have A.D.D and do an off topic story. You get more stories. This video sent to us from fellow woody boater George Blosser of the Smith Mountain Lake Chapter of the ACBS is 28 minutes of pure emotion. Funny how a simple machine can evoke such deep feelings.. Get a cup of coffee and watch away.. It gets very touching near the end and worth watching. Tomorrow.. More boats…

OK so it wasn't boats. It was still about history, preservation, restoration, incredible experiences & people. Oily exhaust is every bit as addictive as varnish & gas fumes!

Matt, George, this is a really nice piece of work. I have seen a thousand of these. They range from bad to average to a few that are at this level. This has a lot going for it. Beautiful imagery, a stunning airplane, a great story. Romance, and education all rolled into one.

The voice work by Peter Coyote is spot on. Just awesome. The script is very nicely done as well.

Someone give me a budget! I want to do one of these for our hobby. Seriously, I have had this same sort of idea for some time. It needs to be done. We too, are losing much of our history each day. To capture just a few stories would be priceless.

Wow, what a great video and great story!
The screen got a bit fuzzy near the end.

John Rothert, posting as anonymous, might prefer actually to be anonymous now…and yet…it's ok for a man of a certain age to cry.
Thanks Matt, great piece, not a boat to be seen, and not a dry eye in the place….

Thanks George and Matt for sharing that with us. Wow what a cool story. Beautifully filmed and put together. Its interesting to me that if one was asked the same question," name a prop driven fighter ' in NZ Australia or the UK I believe the answer would be the Spitfire.
I've seen them both fly and the Mustang sure sounds better.

So Bill, what kind of budget are we talking about to produce a film on classic boating? I would be hind such a project and I would think many of the Woody Boater fans would be also.
