A pile of nice vintage boat hats |
Well, we now have about 10 hat pins in from scouring eBay and other places. They are the finishing touch to your classic boat hat. If you go the route of a gold bouillon on your hat they look fantastic, but if you are going the patch route its a no go. Here is a sample of what they look like.

Tough crowd Matt. They are tired of the contest, get mean with each other with controversy, request hats and yet when you give them what they want you can hear a pin drop in WoodyBoatVille.

Years ago Palisades Yacht Club (the marina that I'm in) had such a pin that represented membership. I'm in search of one of them. It had the letters PYC in white on a blue background.
Any plans to have a WoodyBoater one made?

I can only imagine the reader outrage when we run the story about a vintage 1935 Seattle Ferry Boat on Thursday morning…

I have mine! Copacabana Yacht Club, Cuba from e-Bay! It will go nicely with my un-opened bottle of pre Castro rum!

Hey WoodyGal – I would love to see a photo of that Copacabana Yacht Club pin. I wonder how hard they are to get? If you have a photo, please send it to Texx@Woodyboater.com
Thanks!
