Fellow Woody Boater Kent O. Smith from Lake George has magic powers in one of his eyes.. Like the 6 million dollar man he is able to see a nice image and with the help of his trusty sidekick ” Camera” take some great snap shots of this time of year in classic boat paradise. As Ken says…”I’ve been playing with HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography for about a year, and these are in that style…7 shots each blended with Photomatix 4.0″ Yes you heard him right. These are made from 7 different shots. DANG! And one eye! Enjoy the light!

God’s country in The North Country with God’s boats. Beautiful.

Well he said …”I’ve been playing with HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography for about a year, and these are in that style…7 shots each blended with Photomatix 4.0″ but all that my brain processes is blah blah blah. Don’t understand a word of it but I’m thrilled he does because those are awesome photographs. Can we still call them that and can I still use my point and shoot camera? And is this still a blog? I think I need to go back to bed again.

Kent needs to put out a calendar! He has a talented eye.

Kent, thanks for sharing, the photos of vintage woody boats are amazing. It was refreshing to enjoy my morning coffee while seeing old woody boats in their winter homes with ice below, woody shed above and cold, sunny scenery beyond.
Speaking of sunny, the Sunnyland Boat Festival is just a little over 10 weeks from now.
