According to the “The Essential Guide” 1,500 22′ Sea Skiffs were produced by Chris-Craft between 1954 & 1959. The large list of available options included an Aft Position Steering Lever & Throttle Control for fishing, Aft Position Tachometer, Fish Box or Ice Box and even a Pump Type Toilet installed under the forward deck.
The forward compartment also converted into a two-sleeper cabin for those big fishing trips out on the lake, or in case you had one too many beverages waiting for the fish to bite…
This all original 1956 22′ Chris-Craft Sea Skiff is currently listed on eBay by the third owner, you can click here
to go to eBay for more information. Bidding ends on Sunday, February 6th. The boat needs some work but as we all know, it definately helps when your starting with an all original piece. The owner is a great guy and is just trying to find a good home for the boat. He started the restoration a while back but has too much going on in his life to give it the full attention it deserves. Once the auction has ended, if the boat doesn’t sell you can contact Texx@woodyboater.com and I can provide his contact information. This boat needs to be saved and brought back to life.
