“Well finally after almost 2 years of restoring her myself (shes my first), I have her in the water.
Have you finally put her in the water?
Have her in Lake CDA her in Idaho! I have taken about ten rides and the season is coming to and end her but I will keep her in as long as I can.
What is she?
1958 CC 17′ Sporstman with a 131 HP KFL. Shes all original. Shes has new ceiling and Upolstry and I replaced every fastener on her. She does have her original bottom which soaked up in 2 days!
Congrats, I know the feeling of that first time in the water! Already for the next one?
Yes I am. I took her down to bare wood resfastened her and stained her redid her blond planking. I think for the forst timer she turned out well, with 23 coats of varnish!!
