Here we go, we tested it earlier with a live tour. There is a 5 second delay and might be tough to follow. If you see a black screen, its because we have not gone live yet. We are planning on the 10:45 launch.

Great job, Matt. You said some really smart things about getting an injection of youth into this hobby. Got me thinking.
Texx
We are thinking about doing a story on this subject next week.
Gary
When someone in the audience asks a question it would be nice if the presenter repeated the question so the answer might make sense.
Is this supposed to go on all day? If so the the streamis not live.
Texx
It is now a repeat version of the original – I think.

Matt: I have to say it started off painfully slow, like paint drying but once you got going it went pretty well. I do respect you for saying exactly how it is in the boat world, you were very even handed taking pot shots at everyone that deserved it. Nice job!
Jay Wagner
Unit was down for me each time I checked. Glad some guys got live feeds!
Wicked Wahine
Matt & Texx, Kudos! Great Job!
Mahalo!

Did anyone else have a 1969 moon landing video flashback? I could swear I heard the words “mission control” in the background.
John Rothert

Didn’t realize Ustream would allow replay at later time to our convenience, that’s fantastic, I was able to rewind several times back to the point where I fell asleep, lol. Great summary of where and what 30 somethings are. My 20 – 27 yr old kids who grew up with my woodies and going to shows confirm what you said. For the car hobby, they eschew the muscle cars scene — BMW, VW, Audi, Porsche, 240/260 Z’s are the new muscle and they don’t give a crap about numbers matching, original docs, NOS parts. They’re engine swapping, lowering, and modding to suit themselves. Same with boats, my graphic arts influenced daughter wants a mid 70’s sliding top classic ‘glass Aristocraft that comes in the pastel colors that she can identify with. In the car scene, any car imaginable has its own forum following or multiple forums to link “members” around the globe. Many of the forums have an “unwritten” code to follow for posting, or you’ll get “flamed” off the board. Some of the sites, Stanceworks, revlimited, bimmerforums, cherokee (for jeep), tdiclub, vwvortex, mye28 (bmw), air society, turbodieselregister, grassroots motorsports, etc are ones we follow.
Hat off to you guys for getting us linked up.
Matt
Not sure how its replaying yet. But that’s great news. It’s all new to me as well
Texx
I was surprised to learn that the Ustream video re-plays too… over and over…
I met a guy at a boat show like that once…
RiverRat
Sunday morning past ten am. Just played the video. Nice job. Thanks for making it available to those of us that cannot travel. And as qlways thankyou for your ongoing work that make WoodyBoater a reality and of course fun.
Don Ayers
Thanks for calling me out Matt!!! Ha! 🙂
