That’s the ticket, Its the perfect boat! And it operates on a Joy Stick. Don’t go there, this is a family web site. I did not make that up.
Have a original bottom on your boat that needs a week to soak up? Who cares, turn it into a Hot Tub! Goot God, lets get wet. It’s celeberty Hot Tub time. Turn down the heat, and turn up the volume! After the comercial that is..
OK, back to our story, Now if you gotta have one of your very own. Here is the website. I have to say, all the fun jokes aside. It is kinda cool. On a calm day on a small lake, in the fall, very cool. Most defiantly a conversation piece and don’t forget the Joy Stick. The ultimate conversation starter. Would you like to steer the boat?
I got nothing more to say. I am all talked out from the past 4 days. Enjoy your soaked boat and Joy stick!

Now that is one wet ride. How many knots will it go? Can you ski behind it?
Rick
ACTUALLY- If you install a waterjet, turn it into a static lap pool you could probably ski IN it! Now that would be a sight, teach your kids to ski while keeping it docked and sipping a margarita.

Duh!! After two full days of discussion I think you have finally hit on how to get younger people involved in wooden boating. Joy stick control is very modern too. Great banner this morning by the way, very cool.

How can you tell if it’s sinking?
Bill
if the joystick disappears it means its takeing on cold water
Carl Garmhaus
Cold outside water comes over the side

I had a CC ski boat like that once. Had I routed the exhaust water into the boat it would have been heated and jetted. Stop, your giving me some great ideas.

Chad,
Just because it attracts beautiful women doesn’t automatically make it an Arabian, but I can see how you can make that mistake.
Speaking of award winning Arabians, mine was purchased as a turn key boat for under $8k. It’s got tons of appeal to the younger crowd and beat an over-restored XK in a WB poll. There are plenty of economical and cool ways for people to get into the hobby, if they choose to do it in an antique or classic boat.

The Hot Tub Boat has a max speed of around 7 knots. Last year during opening day of boating season here in Seattle they were in the parade thru the Montlake Cut (Narrow Canal from Lake Union to Lake Washington) The organizers were on the radio “Hot Tub Boat, please speed up! You are delaying the entire parade.” “Sorry, we have a max speed of 4 knots, what do you want me to do?” “Please pull to the side of the canal and let the other boats pass.” It was hilarious to listen to on the VHF.

Now that’s a great juxtaposition – a frozen header and a hot topic… Out on the lake we have to avoid those just as we do paddleboarders, but we always cruise by slowly and close by to make sure they are OK and not lost, or needing assistance, or… 🙂
Alex
Now if it was also a Hot Tub Time Machine they’d really have something! Without that, nyah.

Wonder how much fun it would be to ride by one of these things — nice and close, maybe 20 or so feet away — in a big 27′ Shepherd with twin motors just barely on plane? Wonder how much water would be left in the tub afterward? Sorry, that’s a bit malicious.
