Karen Harrison out on Miss Lisa with Matt Byrne at the helm yesterday morning.

the Sun came out and never left yesterday. But today is supposed to be a bit messy. So Texx has taken so many pictures that his computer crapped out. We forget how many wonderful things there are here to shoot. It’s neck snapping, were ever you look there is a photo op. by 8pm we are wiped out and just want to sleep. We lost Texx at 4 pm yesterday.

The Show as usual is full of fun and joy to be out doing what we all love best. Boating. The most fun part is seeing folks get there boats in the water for the first time this year and they zoom off. No putt putt to the docks. Its a full hard run around the lake before they are set in place for the show. Here are some fun shots from the show. We hear it’s snowing up north. What a shame!

It was a drop dead gorgeous day! Picnic cruise & the BBQ wonderful too! And the Dora Canal, my favorite, was teeming with birds, gators & gnomes. My friend Lynn rode in her first woody! Thanks Dennis!

Sure hope it’s not the boat doing cartwheels but the photographer because he’s just so darn happy to be down there with gorgeous subjects.

Weird. The photo is upside down in Chrome on Android, but right side up on my iPhone.

Either way it looks like fun, although I prefer the upside down stuff in an airplane with a bit more altitude than I imagine you can get in a boat.

Drinking the woodyboater kool aid myself but sunny today is more like a wish right now, but I could still stand to have a pair of those fancy shades your pushing.

The Floyd pic is sideways on android and correct on the iPhone as well. I think it might be time for some “random” drug testing in the Woodyboater IT department!

btw, the Twistee Treat is my fav soft ice cream place here. I actually had stock in the companny 30 yrs ago when we used to buy penny stocks and it was a franchise play. That’s a fiberglass ice cream cone shell that can be shipped and installed in any out-parcel parking lot with utilities specked to order. Probably lost my ass on that stock deal too.

It was great to have opportunity to shoot the Chris-Craft Hydroplane and Cobra together today on Lake Dora. For reference – the Cadillac powered Cobra won the race with Terry at the controls…

and the hydro is a KB with triple down drafts, that’s no contest if that Cadillac V8 with dual quads is running right. Jeez how does one get that gig anyway, either the photo op/shoot, driving, or passenger.
