The day started out right, a quick fill up at the “Clam Shack” This picture says it all. The “Gas Girls” where waiting for us. Dear god, please remember the rules about commenting today!
Everyone said, the day was going to be ruined by bad weather. To hell with that, we are going woody boating.
None of us recall how much we spent per gallon, for all we knew it could have been 10 bucks a gallon. This business model is pure genus! Oh yea, and those are a U22 and U18 sister boats. With Cruising for the cure organizer Rick Thie on the far left.
Right as the rain came, the first time, Tommy lost his trademark hat on the Clam River.
Here we are waiting out some dramatic action on the lake. But worth it for the light and photo.
Now all gassed up away we go… The good folks here put on a fun poker run around the lake and a nice lunch at the end.

To be honest, it got a tad damp at the start, but we waiting in areas and dodged most of the rain, and then the gods awarded us for our relentless pursuit of fun.
