This in from David LaChance. also our header boat today. Thought I would send you a photo or two of my latest project, 1958 Lyman 18 with a 58 Mercury mark 78. After three years of work, I finally got it in the water a few weeks ago for the first time, and last time for the season! Three full days of running and it was time to get it ready for storage. Oh well..

    Great shots!

    Love the video!

Maybe Brian can send in some Christmas Bikini Boating shots.

That London Bridge was moved to Arizona by Robert McCulloch who also founded Havasu City where he re-built the bridge. Along with other cities, McCulloch developed the Paxton supercharger, McCulloch chain saws and outboard motors. Two of his outboards hang on the transom of my ’59 Chetek Duchess!

How well does that Flying Scott perform? I have one I am looking to restore on a 58 Glastron hardtop.

Nice work on the Lyman, David. Time to bring it to Sunnyland show to extend your season. And that GarWood is trimmed out so nicely, it can’t possibly be Chrysler Crown powered getting that much “air”.

Captain Grumpy, here’s my plow, gonna grow my own mahogany.

WE have been blessed with TWO DAYS of LYMAN LOVE for HEADERS, IT HAS HELPED ME GET THRU THIS COLD BLAST OF WINTER AIR THIS WEEK…

Thankfully, the amount of rum required to get me into a bikini would exceed Bacardi’s production capacity!

It was a bit of shock to open the site this evening and see my boat and I on the header!! Talk about an ego boost!
Won’t be able to get my hat on for a while!

All kidding aside, thanks for all the kind words.
Hopefully next year I can get a lot more hours on her.

Thanks for the post!! You have no idea how badly I want to get this boat done and in the water…..It has pained me for a couple years now looking at all the fun your viewers have had. Here’s another pic from the Great Flip, my youngest doing his best King Leonardo, thanks cousin John!

Almost goes without saying, the Gar Wood is beautiful though as a fellow outboard owner I must say I love the Larson and that gorgeous Merc Mark 78! To bad about the minimum water time this year, but you’re already to go for next season! 🙂 Special mention for the stunning Fall Foliage on the lake, nature’s beauty is a wonderful spectacle.
