This Friday is the day. The day that you tell your loved one how much you love them. For the record and clarity, I am not talking about your boat. Got that.. NOT YOUR BOAT! This Friday is Valentines Day. In Woody Boaterville a very critical day. Cause how you handle the day can and will set the tone for the rest of the year. As we have reported time and time again, the assosiation with your love of boats in a HOME MADE card is all part of the magic. For one day its about him or her.

Nice little vintage white boat..

Nice little vintage white boat..

So play your cards well. As a public service we here at Woody provide you with art you can use.. just click on the image, it will blow up. Drag it to your desktop and print.. Then the rest is up to you.. Cut them out, Make a card, sign, email.. what ever.. Just do something.. We are all depending on you. The entire classic boat economy is depending on you.. SO FOR GODS SAKE Make a card!

Right to the point

Right to the point if you are in the market for a little speed boat. Not good if you want a cruiser by the way.. Mixed message… Not good

Here is one from last year.. Obscure boat, but maybe you need a 15th boat.. Alex....

Again……we have to do all this again……..seems like I was just doing this…sigh. Can I just leave one of these up on the tablet screen on the kitchen table? If I hit the donate button can WoodyBoater snail mail her a card in my name next year? You know I did this last year and I still don’t see a Garwood Triple in my yard next to Panther. Maybe it’s the girl that’s the problem. Alex does your wife have any sisters?

Hi Don, its an Osterman Racer one of a kind. The shoot was set up on Lake Dora with Richard Arnold at Rejuvination Wood Works. Richard is one of the nicest guys in the hobby. We have some amazing headers in store as we count down to Lake Dora one month away.. You can read more about this boat by clicking here.

Yeah, I know. But all we got is a boating Texx!

Oh, c’mon people. It’s no worse than Matt’s “Let’s Sea” card.

Though I did manage to find this. It’s a tuxedo wedding wetsuit.

    ***Here’s what to do, Gents:

Serenade your sweetheart with THIS song… it’s killing two birds with one stone!

Buy the boat of your dreams, park it in the driveway, stand up on the helmsman’s seat, then start crooning your words of love into the master bedroom window. Turn on the navigation lights for a more romantic effect…

If it’ll ease your stage fright, have a couple strong snorts before getting ‘on stage’, just like Deano!

CAUTION: Do not SMOKE like Deano while you’re singing in your new boat…(gas fumes, you know).

If it works and you’ve melted her heart…introduce her to your new ‘Slow Boat’!

This technique must’ve worked for Dean Martin…look at the boat HE dragged home (he even named her ‘Sweetheart’ in Italian for extra credit!)

    Best of Luck, fellas!

Chad, you’re gonna get mighty cold curled up next to that new engine in the garage. Cynthia’s meatloaf doesn’t win any prizes, either. But I’m not going there on Valentine’s Day.

Here is how I spent my “Valentines Eve”.
Grilling my Valentine her favorite dinner with 7″ of new snow on the ground and more still coming down.

Here is the Boatress posing for a Facebook pic.

Tried to get her to at least put on the Woodyboater hat, but no deal. She thinks I’m addicted.

    • Alex

Troy, was that just before you asked your Boatress: “Have you ever gotten the Aunt Jemima treatment?”
