My first mate and her Mom enjoying some family time at our cottage. Happy Mother’s Day to all the great Moms out there in WoodyBoaterville!

Mom, Dad and us kids circa 1955 with our first boat.
Chris Craft kit boat built by Press Reel of Pittsburgh PA. with a 15 HP Johnson. Mom was a very, let’s say, “hesitant” boater but she put up with being on the water because her family enjoyed it so much. Miss her.

My mother, Ann, aboard Miss Cynthia on beautiful Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She grew up boating on the lake on her father’s CC Cavalier cruiser in the 50’s. The boat was named Ann K.

I would think this boat also belong to my Dad. He traded it in at Albert G Frost Marina about 1955 or 1956

Here’s one for one of my good friends….I had the privilege of taking his 90+ mom out on my beloved Chris Craft. We spent an hour putting around the lake before she finally said, in her German accent, “doesn’t this boat go any faster?”

You tease us with pictures of babies in WoodyBoater swag! Yet, there is none to be found in the store?

I would really love to get a woodyboater t-shirt for my 2 year old to wear at local ACBS events this summer. Can it be done??
