Ours got us through polar vortexes 1 through 157 or so this winter, but we use them on beds, not in the boat. I think I need to add a back bench to squirt before I get a wool throw to dress it up.

Also, our forecast puts us around 80 this weekend so I’d be more interested in a cooling model, or maybe some bacon. Yeah, the maple kind!

Seriously though, they make a great wool blanket, and winter is only a few weeks away.

Bacon will only keep you warm for a few hours, even the maple kind. The blanket will keep your bacon & you warm for a long time.

Ugh! You know it’s going to be a good day when you have to drag a deer carcass out of the way so you can back out of the driveway.

Should have stayed home under a wool blanket.

O’m thinking, this time of year, let’s go to the Chris Craft web site and order a beach towel.

Definitely want to check these out. Please tell me how they compare with the Pendleton motor robes, of which I have about a dozen.

50s and 60s are nightly, and sometimes daily, in a Hessel summer. Which makes for gorgeous cool evening boat rides under blankets, followed by roaring beach fires.

And it’s all over faster than a cicada hatch. (Sigh.)

They have a pretty wide variety of blankets and throws in a variety of colors, patterns, weaves etc. and of course sizes.

Many of the Faribault wool blankets and throws are machine washable, but my cat much prefers to sleep on our Melbourne blanket which of course is a dry clean only style.

MAN I am going to have to get me some of those.

Do they come with “WOODYBOATER” embroidered on them?

    • m-fine

Not yet, but a woody boater Faribault throw would be almost as cool as a Woodyboater flag! I would buy a couple.

We absolutely could embroider the blankets with “Woody Boater.” I think we can get close to Matt’s font. We have to send them out to do it, so it adds $20 and about a week for delivery. We are in the process of adding that as an option on the website, but it’s not operational yet. Jean can direct you toward designs where embroidery works the best. So just email Jean in customer service and she’ll take care of you customer [email protected]

If you’ve already placed your order, and it’s already shipped, she probably won’t be able to help you. Sorry! You’ll have to order another. Jean will be in tomorrow and out on Friday and Monday enjoying our Minnesota summer, don’t ya know.

I believe the name Woodyboater and the logo are trademarked. You should get permission from Matt (Smith) before ordering anything with his marks.
