I know many of you are waiting for amazing boat pictures, and I promise we have them, Actually we were able to shoot over 1600 photos while selling over 500 t shirts and saying hi to all our pals in three days. We went out yesterday to get some final shots of the prototype Chris Craft Capri V Drive from our friends at Katzs Marina.
A very cool Chris Craft Stinger and well, to be honest, ride around like fools and have a great day.
To say it was a perfect boating day is a gross understatement. We did the usual fun stuff like go to The Palm Gardens on the Dead River and just goof off.
And then it happened on the way back to Mt Dora. Actually right at Paul and Karen Harrison’s Dock.
That’s right. The show ended the way it started, with a tow in to the dock with a broken electric fuel pump. It just stopped and that was that.
The fantastic news is that it happened at the one place on the planet earth that was meant to be. Its almost like the fuel pump knew we should stay there on that dock. Thanks to Karen, she knew the drill and we had the Termite Terror towed in in about 10 minutes. And then it happened. The real reason we have all come to Lake Dora. Friends.
We went back to thank Paul and Karen and there friends, Mike and Helen Moore from England and Matt and Lisa Byrne showed up. Wow, a magical sunset on the dock.
It was one of those times were you find yourself in the one place on the planet that you are supposed to be. All because we broke down! What a perfect end to a perfect weekend. Now back on the road and weed through all the amazing photos from the show. We hope you all safe travels!
