Texx out doing what he does! Shooting boats on a sunny day
Today’s story is a huge shout out to Texx, who has over the past two weeks amazed us all with fantastic stories and coverage like no other of Muskoka. Texx has shot gigabytes of images and spent hours crafting amazing stories to all our readers enjoyment. So, today, we thought it would be great to send Texx a bow of sorts.

Thats some kinda cool boat there Texx
In the comment section post a fun pic or drawing of your bow. Now they may all look the same to many, but it will be fun to see, really how diverse all our bows really are. And a great way to thank Texx for all the wonderful reporting. So today Texx, its all of us doing the reporting, you get to sit back and take or look at… a bow or two or 20..

Great job as usual! !
Ya missed another Dippy engine.

That looks like a dealer power upgrade for a dippy. I don’t think any of them came with 5 cylinders from the factory.

Great working with you on the Muskoka shoot, Texx. I have a new respect of how much work goes on behind the lens to get those pictures.
Tom
Thank You Texx!!! Looking forward to more stories from your past two weeks.

I agree with seeing how hard it is to prepare for a photo shoot: to get the boats in the proper positions, lighting, running angle, etc, etc. more down time than most would think. I have had the pleasure of being on both ends of Texx and Matts photo shoots over the years, and learned a lot from them regarding these issues like were to run your boat, how far way to be, angles, wave jumpin, (and how to almost loose a wife!)
And it gets rough out there with all the boat waves; how they keep their cameras steady with those big heavy lens, and still get clear, crisp pictures, is another amazement to me. Ever try to keep a level horizon while shoot a picture on a rockin boat???
Here’s a little Plastic “BOW” to ya, Texx, now go home and hug yours…
Chad
Thanks for making it happen, Texx!
Grant Stanfield

Thanks for kind words (and bows) everyone. It was my pleasure. These stories were made possible by our viewers and fellow Woody Boaters around the country who invite us into their homes, cabins, cottages, museums, boat houses, boats, lakes and private facilities to share the magic. Special thanks to them.
It’s the people that make this hobby so wonderful.
