The YNOT gang about to RUMBLE!

Urlr7relNnXoQiO_w_VziVqHfuGz_jwcl_4Vd6NlXY8

Go Donzi go!

There are some wonderful things about the Lake Dora Show that always get my heart pounding. No we are not talking about the funnel cakes and Chicken on a stick. Its the roar of Jersey Skiffs, Miss America doing runs, and now a new tradition which makes me smile every time I see it. The YNOT Yacht gang out ripping up the water ways.

Red white and Blue- Floor it!

The sound, speed and just coolness is inspiring and adds a much needed energy to the event. not to mention, how nice and generous these guys are. They give thrill rides, help, and are just a fantastic addition to the entire Classic boat Culture. They also are some of the best photographers on the planet and have a wonderful way of capturing it all. Each water droplet is cool.

The variety of engine roar out there is fantastic and a reminder that classic is also a sound and smell! Our hats off to the Sunnyland gang for providing a venue for that all to happen

I can’t believe I missed this for cold and work.

Anyone know the featured boat for next year? Do I still have time to find one in a barn and get it show ready by next March?

    • Troy in FL

I have spoken with Terry about making next year the year of the CC Continental. If everyone comes through we will have three from Cobbossee and one from Georgia. That seems like a good start to me.
Now go look in those barns M-Fine.

  2. Dave Clyne

There’s a really great story connected to that sweet cruiser. Thanks, Victoria !

The Fino is an absolutely beautiful boat… and penned by Walt Walters too (Designer of the Classic Donzi 16).

    • Brian Flaherty

In one of Matt’s “WECATCHEM” updates he shared the sad news that the Arabian would not be at Dora due to missing interior materials..

  4. Walt

Thanks for sharing ALL of the cool boats, and not just the “woody” boats.

  5. Al Benton

Thanks Aarron & Bert for all of the action shots out on Lake Dora. And thanks to Woody Boater for sharing them with us.
    Fantastic fun!

  6. Terry (Tuobanur) Limehouse

Great pics, especially the one of that Tuobanur guy. 🙂

A fast ride on the DeNisco’s Formula 233 “The Cigarette”. What a thrill. 60 Mph is a lot faster than 24mph.

  8. Shannon and Scott K

Not only are YNOT’s boats cool, they are also really nice guys! We’ve had the opportunity to see these boats at three shows now, but our admiration was always from a distance. Lucky for us, Bert invited these smiling fans on the dock the opportunity to experience the finer points of the differences between Wood Island and BB in person. Thanks a million, guys!

Whoops, Matt’s spelling gremlin must have moved to my keyboard.
Ben LaDonne was our pilot for the fun blasts in Wood Island and BB.
      Thanks again guys!!

      • Dave Nau

Looks like it was great fun. Love the wide variety of colors on the boats!

Great times with very generous friends like Bert Harris his significant other Kathy, the LeDonne family, Cadillac, Mr Bill Stevendon of Dinzi and Fino fame and John Freeman. They were gracious in taking so many for rides all weekend to share in the thrills. I was lucky to get some seat time in thier beautiful boats!

  10. Jeff Hall

Every boat in the first picture is a Walt Walters design. Even “Wood Island” has a Lancer derived bottom on it which is also a Walters design. The guy knew how to draw a great boat.

Was was a really great guy. I got to spend some time with him and his wife Vern before his passing. It was a real thrill to listen to his story’s and share mine.
