We have drooled over the drawings and old photos of the cool pink Century Roans for years, and never really seen a good one in real life. Until now!
Thanks to Katelyn Mardsen and her dad Syd. Meet K’s Happy Days. The meaning behind the name of the boat is that the previous owner Kay had it named Happy Days, but unfortunately she passed away so her husband knew how much I loved her boat and Kay wanted me to have it so he sold it to me for a very generous offer. In honor of Kay I named it K’s Happy Days for the both of us. Also thanks to Katzs Marina for doing a wonderful clean up and varnish job, helping preserve much more than another cool Century, but the joy of classic boat ownership. Katelyn you are one lucky Woody Boater!
The photos were taken at the Skaneateles Showwhere she…the team won 3 awards including best preserved outboard. Thanks again to Katelyn for sharing the Roan with us all. I know one guy in New Zealand right now drooling over this boat!
