Great video, wish I had another project. I dedicated my boat to my mom ( hence the name Miss Dot) so for the last five years of it’s construction she was on my mind more than usual. 😊

I can imagine what a dream like that coming true must feel like. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no way I could ever afford the first (3) cars I owned back in the ’60’s! Because of their value I know they are still alive somewhere.
My early boats, however, have long since biodegraded away.
We have some folks out there looking for there family boats for sure. And this would be such a specail way to turn that project into something even more special. This production company by the way is a quality group and not messing around. If you are on the fence, JUMP OVER IT!
If a project/story like this could be found, would the production company be willing to fund some or all of the cost of acquisition/restoration in exchange for rights to the story?
What we have found over the years of doing this stuff is NO! They document and bring your story to life. All the shows like this are that way by the way. I do think you are paid a day rate, but its not a carrier. BUT if you are a boat restorer, its gold for awareness and promotion for your company and talent. If you are the boat owner, its a new dimension to the project. That part is up to you. After all you were doing it anyway. Watch Fast and Loud. Discovery owns all that brand, Maybe even Gas Monkey on TV which is why there is a restaurant and other stuff, like Dodge commercials. Which is where your money is made. For this show it looks like its a one episode deal, and will be a family memory for sure.
