Everyone likes a handful of nuts!

Today is the big day! We have been decorating the place and setting up for all our guests. The food is all set up. We have plenty of rest rooms and the Boatress made her special Crab Puffs. The best part of today is you can just pop in and out all day to see who is here.

screen-shot-2016-12-11-at-2-48-39-pm

Everyone gets a smoke! Thanks Ronny!

WE HOPE TO BREAK THE COMMENT RECORD TODAY! So if you are here, say hi in the comment section. We love to see new folks stop by as well as the long timers! If you have never commented, there is a little math problem you have to fill out. Sorry, its a spam filter.

Did someone say Spam!

But will be worth it to catch up with old and new chums! So lets get this started. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr Dean Martin!

And of course what would a Holiday Party Be Without a Yule Log fire. And ELVIS! Yes, he made it! Take it away Elvis

And of course tis the season and time of year where new Fibrglass and Old Woodys come together for the betterment of Classic boats everywhere!

Have fun today! And comment, often! If you drink too much, really comment much!

It is dark, a bit of snow, and the roads are a mess. But I am on my way. Anyone want some pork roll? Phil had it on a bunch for breakfast this summer at the Main Lake Market, I think he is now importing to New Zealand. I think Troy just passed me on the road, there were a bunch of bikini models hanging out the windows!

  2. Rick
    Rick says:

On my way but it might take a while with the little B pushing Panther along. Darn another Dispro just passed me and I believe a familiar wooded Sunfish did too with a big merry man at the tiller. Either Santa or Matt, tough call. I’ve got some bagels for breakfast.

On my way with a tub of eastern NC barbeque and a fresh bottle of Pusser’s. Happy Holidays to all in Woodyboaterville!

We waited for dawn and a break in the snow, but the Michigan Chapter gang is now on the way. There’s a case of Bells in the rear cockpit for m-fine and some special Algonac cookies backed for the party. Keep the party going till we get there and have some dock space ready. Merry Christmas!

      Brian Mortimore says:

Those are some great Christmas cookies! Thanks for hosting the party today. Can I get some folks to untie their boats from mine now so I can motor home. It’s getting pretty late and I want to be docked before the sun comes up.

Set the early morning pee alarm to be first from Left Coast to check in!
And brought a present for you know who!
Merry unpolitical correct Christmas to Matt and Texx who give a present everyday! I will refrain from what else is politically incorrect!

    Danny B says:

I guess ‘ol Zip’s not awake (or sober) yet. His pals are already at the bar waiting for everyone else to show up and goofing off at this early hour.

I’m on the way if I can get the danged old Starflite to fire up in the cold, and bringing the egg nog – light on the nog, heavy on the rum.

    Dave Bannerman says:

Happy holidays from the west coast… of Florida. Our boat, the Karma, sends a short Christmas letter this year.
“Although I didn’t get on the water as much this year, I did get all new wiring. No more lamp cord for me. I had a great time when my original owner’s son came to visit and we went waterskiing. Haven’t done that with him in 40 years. For Halloween, I got to help my current owner hand out candy. We had lots of neighbors take pictures. Have a Happy New Year everyone. See you next year.”

Great timing to get out of the house for a Christmas Party It is only mid December, and I already got Cabin Fever. It has been snowing since last Thursday, and I may have a hard time finding the boat out in the yard. As soon as we dig out, Ronnie and I will be on our way
Merry Christmas to all my WoodyBoater friends

Sorry to be late…I was trying to figure out what to wear. First I put on a blue blazer with my Santa Claus tie and the white wool pants I bought in Syracuse one year on the way to Clayton but that seemed to formal so I changed and got and ACBS golf shirt and the my wife said, “You aren’t wearing your Chris Craft shirt and jacket ?…
Anyhow I’m ready and on the way now…I have the coconut milk and the rum. Hold the door open for me.

The only thing to do is go in the shop and play with Santas new toy. He wants a back up to Redolph in case global warming is the real deal. Santa always thinks safety so it’s 2 engines for him.
Will have a scotch on the rocks, Great Party.

I hate to say but East NC you can leave your BBQ at home because Texas is representing. Everyone knows Texas BBQ is the best!! 😜

    • m-fine
      m-fine says:

Texas does BEEF BBQ the best, but you guys are not as good with the pigs. Virginia does the whole hog with style, Memphis gets ribs right with a dry rub and no sticky sauce to cover the flavor, and South Carolina and Georgia do a mighty fine job with pulled pork shoulder without the excessive acid they use in eastern NC. And then there is Florida which rocks the Chicken on a Stick like nowhere else. At least I think it is chicken.

  25. Philip Andrew
    Philip Andrew says:

  41. Rick
    Rick says:

Finally got here. I really need to upgrade to a larger engine. Hmm a lot of people passed out in the parking lot under their trailers except that one group pouring beer into a Century and drinking it from leaking seams. Yuck that can’t be healthy. Bacon is gone and Matt is in the fetal position around some chicken on a stick. There’s Texx telling his Nikon how much she means to him while looking for a pontoon boat to crash on. And there’s the fiberglassic crowd just happy to be invited finally. Sounds like there’s still a few revellers left awake inside. Happy Holidays to all and cheers to another year of Woodyboater. Thanks Matt, Texx and everyone who makes this happen every morning.

    • Wudzgud
      Wudzgud says:

Hey Rick sounds like last call with all the carnage under the trailers. Are you sure that is Matt in the fetal position or is it Zip.

Merry Christmas from the “Turbo’s”. Its going to be a great one as Alayna has finally been discharged from her 7 week stay in the hospital and is enjoying her Lake Hopatcong calendar courtesy of Bob Kays. I want to thank all the WoodyBoaters’ for your support and donations as she gets her life back through physical therapy. It is so wonderful to see her walk again even if its with the assistance of a walker. Progress.
