Anybody watch NCSI last night ?…Looked like Gibbs was, in one scene, putting plugs in a wooden boat.

    Christmas Cards look great

Came across this greeting card not necessarily Christmas specific but you can write your own greeting. Credit Neil Zimmerman for this creation.

I’d really like the Zimmerman boat for Christmas, but I’ll probably end up with the Wooldridge as usual.

With respect to m-fine’s question of how Santas new sled will fly without legs on the engine?
We are currently in negotiations with NASA for a bacon fuelled rocket engine that was developed in the 60’s at about the same time this boat was built.
The boat has a real NASA connection as the gentlemen who built it in New Mexico was studying computer programming and then went on to play a major role in the Marus mission of ’77’.
Now for the better question. What is it?
Iam told it was a kit boat. My best guess is it’s a Yellow Jacket which were built in Denison Texas between 1949 and 1959.
If anyone would like to either support this theory or suggest another I would greatly appreciate it as we move on with this project. Could also use a few parts for those Johnson 35 seahorse engines.
We’ve been told there wasn’t enough bacon supply to fuel a Mars mission so the project was put on hold.

Yup, Gibbs was pounding in bungs last night. Should be interesting to see if they ever show a finished boat.
