Two stories per day about cool boats two days in a row. You must be practicing for retirement from that day job. You want me to send you some real estate listings from the Algonac area?

Woody boaters should not buy real estate. They might be inclined to buy rundown properties, throw a wheelbarrow load of money at it and then sell for a loss. Possibly without completing the restoration.

Love the Shag Carpet. My 1972 XK22 had the original interior with shag. Don’t know why they thought that was a good idea around water.

Where did you get that m miserable photo of me Matt? Jeeze. I’d just run a 16 Mile race that morning. Cut me some slack.

Rob, I’m here as a resource for you. I had my boat 100% restored. Everything. It was totally original but a mess. So I’ve been there, done that, and made plenty of mistakes (all of them involving too much $). But it came out awesome!

Matt can give you my contact info.

Here’s a better pic of my boat. It’s called “Super Fly.” BTW, I have another blue metalflake one that’s unrestored. Kind of in the same condition as yours.
