I went there by land. Got lost and toured the property. Much nicer approach by water. Wonder if the pre purchase inspection will mention the trees inside the bar need trimmed.

WOW! With land on both sides of the river and road frontage on 441 that place could be a real Gold Mine.

In the mean time I hope the recipe for the Onion Burger is part of the purchase agreement.

One of my favorite headers Troy. I recall that moment. Bay Horse battery was dead, and we paralell parked WECATCHEM between two woodys. Scared the crap out of me. Thats Al Benton at the table with the Boatress and full WoodyBoater gang eating our hearts out.

Hand out pamphlets offering help and recovery services? Who knows how many pontoon renters could be saved?

Sad news; more of the passing of old Florida. You don’t have to be Nostradamus to see what’s next. A developer will buy it, flatten it, and build upscale condos. The middle class fishing families will be pushed out. The restaurant’s prices will be doubled, and the menu filled with tofu cakes and soy burgers. Yuk!
When my boat conked out there three years ago, the folks running the place kindly towed me all the way back to the show docks. Think the new corporate owners would do that?

C’mon now Matt — stay focused! Your’e going to need almost that much $$$’s to keep that ‘new’ cruiser maintained/updated.

… from someone who’s been there.

Hate to admit it …but I fear Moosemeat sees the future.

What a cool place….rivals Alabama Jacks on Card sound at the top of the Keys….where I will be hangin out 3 weeks or so!!!
With my girlfriend …on our way to Key West.
Reality is though that a/the hurricane could have leveled the place (as we feared) and then the developers would have been spared some expense but still been on it like the sharks they are.
As to price….well, like some woodyboaters I know…they have one too many zeros at the end…so the commas are misplaced too. imho
