LO Boat Co New Website

Wow, what a day yesterday. The map was blowing up with new Woody Boater app boaters. But we are not the only ones with a new web site this year. Fellow Woody Boaters and Sponsors, Lake Oswego Boat Co has not only launched a new site, but has laid down the gauntlet and called out Fixed Priced Bottom jobs. That’s right, no more of the dance. He is stating $1K per foot and has all the prices right on the page.

Right there. BAM!

High Quality meets the High Road!

The site is well laid out and states the claim right there. BAM. This is a game changer for the entire culture. You can visit the site RIGHT HERE.

THE NEW DART BOAT CO, SITE

Dart Boat Co

Also fellow Woody Boaters at Dart Boat Co, have created a new Brand Website for the Dart Brand of boats. This is very cool since they are doing it as a continuation of the Dart Boat Co. with Classic Style and Modern Features.

So if you are in the market for a new boat, now Dart is up there with GarWood, Hacker, and Streblow as boats still being made new with old Brand names.  You can See the New Dart Boat Co, site HERE

So how does one edit the information in the WB app for the iphone? I entered information on one of my boats and the app filled in the comment area with a couple sentences in what appears to be Latin. I was going to leave the comment area blank. There does not appear to be a way to edit that or delete the boat and start over.

I inadvertently put the same boat on my profile twice and couldn’t see a place to delete the listing or edit it. Sounds like this may be all the same issue. The app is cool and if all the bugs are worked out for spring it will be great.

One thing that might be fun is a group text with everyone in WB-ville. Could you imagine. The phones would never stop. The wives would be livid.

Good luck to Mike and Lake Oswego Boat Co in the new year. This move is good for customers, but I hope it is also good for the shop as we need guys like Mike to be successful.

I see both of you Mainers this morning. Sounds like we need to wait a bit for the non-Apple users to join us, and then to populate the map with our recommendations.

When Matt called the test group pre-beta testers I thought he was misusing the term, but it seems we are in fact in an early public beta stage. Hopefully they get things flushed out quickly before people lose interest.

Still does not work for me. Hung up on “add a boat”. And cant get back to the part of the profile i did fill complete. I assume the other features don’t work since I have not established a profile.

I knew Hank in Hammondsport (Wine Country Chapter) . He took me for a ride in his little hot racer, (great running flathead Ford, V8) .. His passing was a sad loss to our hobby..

I hate to show how damn stupid I am when it comes to this tech stuff… I forgot to put the make of my “Shepherd” on my profile when I filled in the information on the IPhone app. Tried to change info on my boat and couldn’t do it. Also yesterday I could see my location on the map and today it seems to be gone! If their is a better way to submit these types of questions please let me know so I can discontinue emphasizing my severe limitations to everybody in woodyboater world.
