Knot Again! The Investigation Is in.

Today we are going to show peaceful photos.

Well the results are in from the investigation on the Knot debate. Actually it was over that day, but what sort of fun would that be? A good back and forth is always..Sadly, good click stuff. Yes we had a record day of course. Say what you want, no really, you can see for yourself, I left all the crappy attack comments about us up. I hope you can see by our actions not our words that we are out there for you. No where on the planet would a publication or person, allow that crap to be spewed about themselves. And with that I will tell you the results.

Love and kindness

It’s no shock, it was a knot. YES, Mike Green and M-fine and countless others were correct in the observation. But after the nasty tone, everyone was thinking it was a knot on the stem that was being challenged, not the frame. Because the stem was also attacked and so I touch on the subject of “tone” again. No one listens to an attack, they react. And so you may be right, and do it in a wrong way. A natural defense is to defend. And this is how ship storms like last weeks low point happen. It becomes personal, and spiteful. Honestly, I am still upset at my integrity being called out. But I can get over that, because I know who I am and how I do things.

Peaceful morning

So here is how it went down in the deep investigation. Seth and I got on the phone, and were confused at first. What Knot? Who cares if its a knot? Its a temporary frame as is the stem. hell the stringers have yet to be redone. These are cut and shaped to fit. And refit, remember there is no pattern to work from. I did not know that as I am sure many didn’t because I had yet to talk with the Katzs team. This is all REAL TIME.

The photos are being uploaded on a drop box file for me to choose as we go. It’s my error in not asking more detailed questions.  The second Seth saw it, to quote him ‘ ya? that’s a knot on a template frame” it will be replaced with proper wood once the pattern is perfect. I don’t waste good wood on a template. The Blue Prints say one foot is one inch, but that’s a little general, and this boat was hit hard. So how does one fit that all together is a trial and fit method. Sorry, that’s it. Nothing all that dramatic.

This is a good community full of good people.

This is the part that is important. And New Changes To WoodyBoater. Tone is important. You may be so obsessed to point out another’s flaws for your gain, you miss the bigger picture.  So, from this point on, I will be deleting all comments that are negative in anyway. That sort of energy has no future or positive outcome. And is personally painful for everyone involved. Myself included. A HUGE thanks again to the Turners, and many others for the kind supportive words. No one enjoys the fights. Okay some do, and a back and forth can be productive. But can it be done in a positive way? Yes.

Can you love a boat too much? No!

We would also like to thank the the Katz’s Team and other companies and people for allowing the universe to see their work. That confidence alone should tell you more than any story. Actions do speak louder than words.

Calm

Morning peace

Love, peace, kindness sort of sounds like a song from the 60’s. We’re thankful that you promote this feeling and not concentrate on the negative stuff that’s all around us.

Maybe I’ll go back to playing my guitar under a tree on a sunny day. It worked for getting the ladies back then anyway.

Matt you have been much more patient about this than my Sicilian temper would have allowed. Good for you.

This is Matt’s site and he can do as he pleases with it…if you don’t like it…don’t read it….?
Such dustups fail to register with me….life it too short…as brought home by the fact that I personally knew one of the innocents killed in the Va. Beach Shooting.

Ask knot what Woody Boater can do for you (we already know what that is), but what you can do for Woody Boater.

Really, is that how it’s done, a “template” frame and stringer?
“What Knot? Who cares if its a knot? Its a temporary frame as is the stem. hell the stringers have yet to be redone. These are cut and shaped to fit. And refit,”….,

“The second Seth saw it, to quote him ‘ ya? that’s a knot on a template frame” it will be replaced with proper wood once the pattern is perfect. I don’t waste good wood on a template. ”

I hope my “TONE” is allowable?

Perhaps there is something else to learn from all of this. Today’s world is obsessed with what they read, but don’t always fully read. Maybe we need to question everything we read and make sure what we read is complete before we make irresponsible comments. Hmmm. And maybe we need to make sure what we post is easily understood without interpretation.

Hmmmm.., what interpretation do you envision?

Do you envision that I misread? (and NOT fully read?)

Apparently, my “TONE” was allowed, and not my intent?

I personally have always tried to be positive. I hope that it is perceived that way. I think this site is like actual boating. It should be enjoyed. Don’t let the Mu!%&r Fu(*@r$ grind you down Matt, keep the Mo Jo!
