“Maybe in our world there lives a happy little tree over there”. “There are no mistakes, only happy accidents”…Bob Ross. Darrell’s paintings have more “happy little trees” made into nice mahogany planking and thank goodness for that. I can appreciate the effort that goes into his artwork with a daughter graduated in fine art and living the life of a starving artist. She had this piece laying around and I asked her why she spent all that time on a boat trailer winch and she said it was a class project at school limited to what was on site and that’s a tennis net winch not a trailer winch, lol

This is a Judd nelson roll of toilet paper made out of Marble. Its famous in the art world and this is part of an amazing collection at the Guggenheim Museum.

While searching thru archives this morning for some info I ran across an original Bill of Sale for a 1949 Racing Runabout Hull# R-19-112 I believe was previously owned by the late Joe Cabot, if anybody knows who owns this boat now I would be happy to send them the document if they want it, since it doesn’t happen to often I feel it should stay with the boat Thanks Jim

I love Darrell Bushes paintings! Of course he paints about things I like, boats cabins outdoors and animals. He just puts you there in his paintings. One of these days I am going to commission him to do a painting of my cabin. Defiantly with a boat at the dock.

My girlfriend commissioned Darrell to do “Torpedo” for me a few years ago – it’s now hanging at my cabin in Crosslake, MN. I always like looking at it. He added our favorite breakfast spot ( the Wharf ), my first wood boat ( Mis’ Behavin ), my Skater 28, and Dave Tompson’s “Rio Rita”.

    He does great work !!!
