Happy Birthday! Now Get Out There You Crazy Kids!

From Sea to shining sea!

I love July 4th, to me its one of the most wonderful days of the year. No gift pressure, just family, and sunshine. And lot’s and lots of boating. THis year the holiday is right smack dab in the middle of the week, so many here have taken the week off. Wow! Here in Reedville its a huge deal, with a parade and fireworks over the water. All on Saturday though, so we really get to milk the fun.

Happy 4th of July to WoodyBoaterville!
We should have a contest to guess whose ensign that is in the Michigan photo. I think I recognize the sea wall in the background.

The KAVALK Classic 19 is fueled up and ready to go. Heading for Yorktown, where it all came together. Lunch at the Yorktown pub, not far from the battle field and British General Cornwallis’ Cave. History abounds, nice place to celebrate the 4th.

    Gary VT also in VA

Finally, some hot, dry sunny 5 day stretch of “PURE MICHIGAN” WEATHER TO ENJOY.

Happy 4th! Today is a BBQ day more than a boating day, but our Red White and Blue Bicentennial Penn Yan will get a couple hours on it for sure.

    Ribs are on…

Those are the best series of photos ever, I’m blown away. Unfortunately, since my boat motor is toast, I spent the morning with 60,000 of my running friends instead of on the water. They don’t call it Hotlanta for nothing. Respectable time for an 69 year old in this heat 1:03:20 for a 10k.
