Hans Solos Pontoon Boat! Great now even space isn’t safe from bordum

A huge thanks to fellow Woody Boaters Gary Viser and brother Royce Humphreys for sending us in these little…large gems. Just when you thought it was safe to be in the water.. Oh boy. But they are different?

Custom job!

So, lets take a Pontoon boat and find the one thing on the planet uglier. Yup. A Gremlin! Or Yugo..

Wait, the interior is kinda cool, It’s got a 1961 Chris Craft interior color

And just when you thought it could not get any worse. Or Better?

Airbrush Woody

And of course Knotty Pine always is a good touch.

Okay hold on. Actually this is better than the white Clorox look

A LOT better. Wait.. WTF? What is happening to me? First I am thinking of a new modern engine, and now plastic painted boats are looking okay, and Pontoon boats that look like AMC Pacers.. These arnt Crazy Boats that you drive, these are boats that drive you crazy!

I would pass on those boats and buy WECATCHEM the V8 power she has always dreamed about. Over head valves means they are easy to get to, and no contortions with feeler gauges needed to set the lash with hydraulic lifters.

Give in to the dark side, and enjoy more boating on the water and less time watching Jimmy fix things in the barn.

Hahaha! Reminds me of one of those 300hp pontoon boats I saw blasting across the lake the other day! Front of the pontoons in the air, right through the No Wake zone….

Pontoon(?) looks to have been built over mid 50s Crestliner Voyager. This baby is ACBS boat show eligible. Making offer today and reservations for annual meeting/show. (Will install period correct power so as to avoid points deduction for modern power)

Brilliant idea! The combination of resto-mod and pontoon should get you a lot of attention at the International. Maybe you will win TWO best in class awards!

I cancelled my bid when I saw it only had 15 hp, but now I think I need to reconsider.

My first thought was a pocket edition of an evil genius boat in a 1960’s Bond movie. Maybe worse…

You better hope no ‘toon’ manufacturer subscribes to your blog, or in a few years you’ll be seeing larger versions of this.

Well I guess the two days of “real” stories was a good enough stretch and now we are back to Fantasy Island.

Maybe you could take the small Matt and put him next to Ricardo Montalban and the weird pontoon and have your own version of the show.

I like the description of the Maxum’s engine.

Motor runs GREAT! Carburetor/Internal Combustion Engine.
