This year here in little Reedville the classic boat show is going all out and all over the town all day and night. This year the entire town is getting involved with all the docks on Main Street having old cruisers and work boats, while at the Museum will have the classic speed boats and food. And a huge special treat, Rod Moody And the Centaurs will be performing live at night. Huge Deal for us. HERE IS A LINK TO THE MUSEUM WEBSITE For ticket info.
This little show has been growing year after year around here and this year its gonna stretch out. Which is great. Special Byboats and historic Chesapeake boats are coming down the Bay from up north to be part of it all. Jimmy and I will have many of our boats there including Stinky the poster boat and Scarlet the poster boat pooch.
Eric Zelman will have his insane way over restored Lake’n Sea and many other local boats that no one knows exist until the show.
If you are gonna stay for the music and suds, we suggest staying around. Dining is great here at the Crazy Crab, Boats will be there. The Reedville Market, and desert at Chitterchats Ice Cream.
Where in the heck is Reedville? Well. Even people in Virginia don’t know so you are not alone, but we are. It’s located at the mouth of the Potomac River and Chesapeake bay on the Virginia Side.
Known as the Northern Neck Of Virginia. In Northumberland County, the first County in America. Yes Capt John Smith explored our area, its that old. We are 1 hr from Colonial Williamsburg, 2 1/2 hrs from DC and 1 to 2 hrs from Richmond.
