What In The Heck Happened? Did We Even Have A Summer?

Out and about!

Well, today is Sept 1st and soon we will be gasping for just one more weekend of boating. The good news according to our stats is many of you are out boating and not reading this weekend. Which makes us here very happy!

She is getting all do datted up

I have been buried in getting Sweet Pea presentable for the Reedville Show next weekend. And just relaxing after being on the road, plane and train for the past month. So, this summer is coming to a sad end, so please get out there and take advantage of the best boating of the year in September. No humidity, and clear water.

This dam hurricane has a bad case of A.D.D

And a huge shout out to all our Fellow Woody Boaters on the South East Coast! Be safe, and dry..ish..

Not a great weather day in Indy but tomorrow should be good. Going to get an entire summer’s worth crammed into the next few weekends.

Almost time to get the snowblower tuned up! Why do I live here again? Oh yeah, clear blue water with NO GATORS!

Yes, I also was wondering where did this summer go? With a wet, cold spring, and prepping my mother-in-laws house to sell, I have only put 7 engine hours on the Coronado this season. And I have only been out on the Whaler once. I am glad to see my Son and Granddaughters have been using the heck out of the Whaler.
With Ronnie’s mom passing, we are now free to travel the next few years in our new travel trailer. We will winter in the South, and visit New England in the late Spring. Plans of a long trip next fall out to the Pacific Northwest, stopping to visit the 2020 ACBS show in Idaho.
Never thought I would cut back on my boating, but after 65 years on the water, it is time to change up the view in my rearview mirror…

YUp, agree 100%, we have yet to figure this one out, The host co says its the something co and the something co says its the something else co. And so on. We suspect some sort of secuirty thing. There is a work around which requirs your IP adress and I refuse to expose people to that. So we are still trying new things. Sorry, its a pain in the you know what

Now that the hurricane seems to be passing us by, I hope it doesn’t impact your boat show.

Beautiful day here…Expect to go boating this afternoon.

Oh we had a summer down here! Heat, rain, rain, and more rain. I can say something good about the hurricane, and that is for the last two days we’ve only had one light shower. But my heart is broken over the devastation in the Bahamas. Bring on the Fall!
