Dorian Reedville Update

Dorian will be hundreds of miles away.

Right now here in Reedville we are getting some intense wind, and grey gloomy skies. but so far she is doing as expected, in fact she has moved off the coast a little more than expected. So unless she does a U Turn the show is gonna be a fantastic weather day. Which of course gets me thinking. See Dorian is a single screw Hurricane. So doing a U -Turn won’t be all that easy.

Ron Moody and the Centaurs 7 Pm – Reedville

So fingers crossed and hopes are high, as is the tide. We have entered into the old school weather prediction thing here. Cause if you watch the news we are all gonna die. But the locals here know how this all works. The day after a storm the skies are clear and the temperature is perfect.

Last year morning run across The Great Wicomico

Of course this does not help the sad situation in the Bahamas, and South East Coast line of the US. We know how rough this can be, and we all pray for the best for all! So, here we go. HIT IT MAUREEN!

I am about 45 miles south of Reedville. at 0800 20 to 25 mph winds NE with some higher gusts. Rain and a normal high tide at the time of approaching low tide. So at 1600 high tide we expect we will be an island but that isn’t much different than a good winter Noreaster. boat is on trailer, triple covered but washed and waxed for the show tomorrow. Planning to be there in the morning.
